Dr. Lokesh Handa is an experienced Cosmetic and Hair transplant surgeon. Having done his training in Plastic Surgery speciality from one of the prestigious colleges of India, he started his clinical practice in New Delhi, where he utilised his skills in Trauma and Reconstructive surgeries, Cleft surgeries (in association with Smile Train) and also started his cosmetic practice, with major work in Hair Transplant. He also worked as a Senior Consultant for 2 years in Enhance which is a leading chain of Hair Transplant and Cosmetic Surgery Clinics across North India before relocating to Dubai. He has worked in Dubai for 4 years as a Specialist Plastic Surgeon (DHA Licensed) in a reputed Aesthetic Clinic Cocoona and now has started his Aesthetic Surgery Centre – MED ESTHETIKS.
He has participated in many aesthetic surgery workshops and conferences and gained a lot of clinical experience from the reputed Plastic Surgeons. He has also presented papers on his work. He was invited as a Faculty to present his work on Body Contouring in International Cosmetic Congress in Egypt in the year 2016 and in 2018. He was invited faculty in ISAPS course in Kolkata, India, for his work in Hair Transplant in Females.
He has also great interest in teaching young doctors, so has trained doctors from various countries, who came for training under him. He ensures that all the fellows who come to learn should acquire the best skills and a thorough knowledge in the respective field under his guidance.
For any surgeon, patient Safety is the primary concern, and this is his first and foremost concern. Along with that, Trust is a big factor, which can affect a doctor-patient relation. Dr Lokesh is very particular about these two things, and his work philosophy is based on these two factors.
He has a keen sense of body proportions, symmetries and aesthetics of the different regions of the body, which is then translated into his work of aesthetic transformation of bodies. Body contouring, facial surgeries and breast surgeries are among his favored surgeries. With a good knowledge of muscle anatomy, he delivers fine results in his high definition liposuction surgeries.
Having quite an interest and great skills in Hair Transplant, he gives very natural results with least amount of discomfort and quick recovery to work in his Hair Transplant patients with great emphasis on the aesthetics of the hair line and styles. He has achieved dexterity in both the FUT and FUE techniques of Hair Transplant, so also provides treatment using combination of both the techniques in a single patient.
